Stow Carpool Alternatives

Hello!

So I know many if us are trying, unsuccessfully, to find a carpool to Stow. One alternative would be to take the commuter rail to South Acton, and split a cab from there to the office. Is anyone willing to look into this arrangement with me?

Hi Annabel,
That would be the only option available to us if the car/carpool/zipcar etc. doesnt work.
I will be staying in the Allston area most probably. May I know from where the you and the others would be commuting from ?

Hi guys,

Good news~ I just past my road test!

And I think I might be going to buy a used car soon. Not sure when can I get the car yet. And maybe we can do carpool from Allston to Stow.

However, you know I'm a new driver and not that good with my driving skill yet. So I may need some time to practice before we can do that. I will let you know when I'm ready....

I got in contact with Jesse about carpooling a few months ago. I still am not sure where I will be staying for the majority of the co-op. Currently, I am also in Mission Hill staying at a friends, but I may only be here for today and tomorrow. If I decide to stay in this area for longer, I will let everyone know!

Sorry I didn't reply you guys. It was crazy to search for a car...

And now I got it. 

Since my orientation is pushed till next Monday, I haven't be in work yet.

I think I will drive to Framingham for the orientation on Monday, and in the future I will drive to Stow. But I'm not confident about my driving skills yet. You know... will be scary to sit in my car. But I would be happy to do the carpool with you as my driving skill becomes a little bit better :) 

But if you really have problems to get to work and don't mind my horrible driving, just let me know. Maybe we can figure something out.

This is great news -- my start date was also pushed to Monday, so maybe this will work out. If need be, I can drive your car the first few times (not sure about the legality of this - I do have a license). Let me know what your plan is / where I can meet you. I think I have a ride for Monday but I'll let you know.

Hi All,

Good to hear this !
I will be starting from Monday 13th July and I would be reporting to Stow itself.
I believe there are 4 of us now (including me) for the carpool which is great !
I will be living in the Allston area so let me know where are we planning to meet up in the morning.

Also,
For Monday, is there anyone driving to the Stow facillity ?
Chloe : You mentioned that you have a something in place for the Monday commute. Is it possible for me to join ?

I just realized that I'm not ready for the carpool to start next week yet. Besides that I'm not familiar with the rout and driving yet, I haven't figured out the general cost yet.

Shall we start the carpool later? Maybe the week of the 20th?

I, too will be having my orientation at Bose Corporate Center in Framingham tomorrow and was wondering if I can join you ?
Please let me know and we will figure out the logistics. Of course I would be happy to share the cost as well.
