John,

News group guidelines prohibit posting in HTML. As you can see, the
above is difficult to read.

For the DataButtons to remain visible, the form must have a rowset,
i.e. it must include a line like:

this.rowset = this.<queryname>.rowset

This line normally gets streamed after all other object definitions
and before any functions/procedures.
