The following works with my uncompiled program, by displaying my menu
for launching forms and reports, but the program won't run when
compiled. When I press Alt/Ctrl/Del I do see Vdb7run in my Windows95
program manager. What am I doing wrong?

_app.frameWin.text := "BACTERIOLOGICAL WATER SAMPLING"
_app.speedbar = .f.
shell(.f.,.f.)
set procedure to OCNMENU.MNU additive
do OCNmenu.MNU with _app.frameWin

Differences like that usually mean something is different in the INI
file. Try placing a copy of your vdb.ini renamed to
<name_of_your_exe>.ini in the same directory as your exe.

Try it in this order.

_app.frameWin.text := "BACTERIOLOGICAL WATER SAMPLING"
_app.speedbar = .f.

set procedure to OCNMENU.MNU additive
do OCNmenu.MNU with _app.frameWin

shell(.f.,.f.)
