What do we need to make Vdb 5.6 work with NT 4.0? The program we created
runs on win98, 95, but not on NT?

Help

Thanks

We can't perform a ZMODEM file transfer using NT that formerly worked using
windows 98/95.

We are using Silverware as our communication language.

Sorry, I haven't used Silverware. Perhaps someone else has some
experience with it and can be more helpful.

Do you know if applications built in dbase 5.6 are compatible with NT 4.0

Yes, although I suppose not 100% compatible. However, your *particular*
problem seems to be with SilverComm, not dBASE.

Check out www.marshallsoft.com. I havn't experimented with their serial
communication packages, but I was impressed by their SMTP/POP package.
