I'm finding that on startup the program RPCSS is opened and not closed.
Also I may be automagically calling the internet connection. The MS
article Q191901 didn't seem to be helpful. Can anyone here shed any
light on this error ?

It is not clear what you are talking about. More detail would help. :-)
These dBASE news groups are dead. Please repost your question (if it is
indeed for dBASE) at the NEW news groups. You can find a link to the NEW
news server below my signature.
