I'm looking for a program that will take a customer database file into a
txt file or something of that nature. Please e-mail if you have this,
or a method to do this.
the file is in Dbase 1.0 format.
Thanks!

dBASE 1.0 never existed. When the original version (Vulcain) was
commercialized, that first version was called dBASE-II.

In that case, does anyone have anything that I can open old dbase files.

This program was written about 15 years ago. anything that would be in
use then, please tell me.
Thank you!

dBASE tables can be opened with a very large number of programs. Of course
any dBASE software is completely compatible with tables created with
previous versions. Any big word processor (Word, WordPerfect and WordPro),
spreadsheet (Excel, QuattroPro, 123) can _import_ dbf files (usually through
File/Import...). Even QuickView (just right-click on a dbf in the Explorer
and choose QuickView).
