To all dBase developers,

I am proud to announce the release of the first issue of a new electronic
magazine: the dBASE Developers Bulletin.

As promised, less than three months after the idea was launched, this free
magazine (100% dedicated to dBase) is waiting for you from these sites:

Canada http://pages.infinit.net/jpmartel/bulletin.html
France http://www.fghoche.com/dbulletin/bulletin.html
Germany http://www.tnm.de/dBulletin/bulletin.html
Italy http://www.intrasoft.it/db2kit
New Zealand http://www.compkarori.com/dbase/1/bulletin.html
South Africa http://www.dbase.co.za/resource/dbulletin/bulletin.html
Sweden http://www.sakia.se/dbulletin/bulletin.html
U.S.A. http://www.staubassociates.com/dbase/bulletin.html

In France and in Germany, the interface of the magazine was translated to
make it slightly more user-friendly. The articles are still in English.
Moreover, the downloaded version for off-line reading is the same whatever
where it is taken from.

The dBulletin is a team effort. Let me thank first our authors (Robert
Bravery, George Burt, Dan Howard, Peter Rorlick and Gary White), our
technical advisor (Ken Mayer), our proof-readers (Graham Chiu and John
Staub), our official distributors (without whom this magazine wouldn't be
available to you). Special thanks also to all those of you who made us
suggestions in dBase NGs that allowed us to offer you a better magazine.

We put a lot of efforts to offer you an useful and pleasant magazine: we
hope you will enjoy it.

Jean-Pierre Martel, editor
The dBASE Developers Bulletin
