How to generate XMI for a together project/diagram using open api

Hi all,
I want to export together project/diagram to XMI programmatically. I am not getting any module of together that does this task. I feel it is not exposed, but it should be there as it is possible through tool UI.
So any ideas or help regarding this is required, please help guys.

indeed, there is a module for generating XMI. But this module source is not
open, and there is no api for calling it from other modules.
