I've created several Together diagrams with Borland Enterprise Suite several days ago, and now when I'm reopening the tool, I don't see any of the these diagrams. There are *.txvint, *.txvact files in a diagram directory on my hard drive still. Is it possible to open the diagram, or would I need to recreate everything from scratch. How does the Suite usually keep the files? under their respective projects? I remember when I was drawing the diagrams the options to save were almost always greyed out, so my assumption was that the diagrams are automatically saved and will be available the next time around. Apparently, it's not the case, or am I missing something. Sorry, if this sounds as a basic question, I'm starting with the tool ;-)

I'm on WinXP using JBX & Together bundled in the Borland Ent. Suite 7

Thank you very much in advance.

diagrams are written to disk immediately on creating/changing, so they
should be available on Together reopening. It looks as if the diagram files
are either corrupted, or not included in the project by some reason. Is
Together personality enabled for this project? Can you create a new diagram?

Elena,

I'm able to create new diagrams. What is Together personality? Where do the diagrams placed by default? Is it possible to redirect the output to a different directory so that they're kept independent from the Java source code? Is there a detailed documentation that I could read to come up to spead?

Thanks very much.

Go to Help. Click the "Find" tab. Search on "personality".
The first link found describes the concept. Personality is customized
per project, so you'll find it under "Project | Project Properties".

Also under Project Properties, go to the Paths tab. There is a Diagrams
tab that lets you specify where the diagrams go.

The help file is the best place to go for the detailed docs. "Modeling
Applications with Together". If you want printed stuff, you can
download the PDF versions and print them -
