As I wasn't able to find an answer via google I thought I'd post it here
so that it will be available to others.

As it seems, Together 6.2 won't start correctly under Mac OS X after the
1.4.2 update has been applied. Somehow the 1.3 JVM is used instead of
1.4.2. After unsucessfully trying to patch the MRJApp.properties I
browsed the release notes and the last entry finally resolved the issue
(sometimes it's actually a good idea to read those notes ;-).

Simply use the provided Together.sh script from the bin directory to
start Together, that works on my machine!

It might be useful/necessary to run the fixpermissions.sh script before
that. In my installation I had to do that using sudo, otherwise nothing
was fixed.

Besides that Together seems to run without bigger problems on the Mac
although it would be _very_ nice to see Together for Eclipse to appear
in an edition for the Mac!

Cheers,

Martin
