I have a model with hyperlinks to images (jpg). I would like to include
those images during doc generation. So I have created the following template
:
Element Iterator
Property Iterator [ Scope : Instances of Single Property | Property :
"Hyperlinks to URL" ]
Image Control [ Type : Static (Resource) | Image Resource Expression
: getDGVariable("curPropertyInstance") ]
END Property Iterator
End Element Iterator
But the images are not imported. Any idea ? (Togetehr Architect 1.1 build

I know, you must have lots of trouble using old 'GenDoc' tool !
It was created very long ago by me (and another guy) yet in the former
TogetherSoft at 1999. It's really old and imperfect. I know this as no
one else.
Now, there is a lot better tool!
I strongly suggest to look at it:

This is the system which is indeed for the next century.
They (Borland) will never create anything like it, be sure!
Several companies and organization are using it now and seem to be very
happy.
I could provide you a guy from a Danish telecom, who may share with you
his experience. In the last e-mail from him, he wrote:

Besides support of Together, which you could enjoy right now, a license
for DocFlex/Together also includes a license for DocFlex/XML, which is
a similar tool working with any XML-file data sources.
In a couple of weeks, we are releasing the next version of it which
will include templates for the XML Schema documentation generator. This
will produce both the best quality RTF and multi-framed docs for any
XML Schema and is going to be the world's only tool of such kind!
The next will be the UML doc-generator based on XMI. In effect, this
will be a yet another set of templates for DocFlex/XML with support for
virtually all UML tools at once!
And all of this will be covered by your license for DocFlex/Together
which you may purchase now!
Please, consider this.
Best regards,
Leonid Rudy
But it is pretty much possible using DocFlex/Together
(as well as in DocFlex/Javadoc and DocFlex/XML) !
There, the Image Control supports all sorts of specifying images:
(*) By constant file path (as in the old 'GenDoc')
(*) By dynamic URL expression
(*) By dynamic Java resource expression
(*) By dynamic expression returning a binary object provided by a custom Java class
(*) Element image (i.e. an image specifically associated with the context element)
(*) Element's small icon
(*) Element's large icon
What anyone may need else?
Welcome to the next generation tools for automatic doc-generation:
