JDataStore will work with JBuilderX.
Use JDataStore 7. It is newer and better.

Steve, am I correct that he needs to follow the instructions in the
JDataStore release notes and copy 6 JAR files from JDS7's lib directory
to JBuilder's, or is that only necessary if he's also using BES? It's
definitely possible to use JDS7 with JBuilderX though, because I've done it.

Good points Gilmer.
If sfaber is not using BES, copying the JDS7 lib directory to JBuilder's
should work fine. I would also recommend using the executables (ie
JdsExplorer, JdsServer) out of the JDS7 bin as well.
BES is a little more complicated since its integration with JDS is a little
more intimate. For BES, its best to use the same "major" version of JDS
that the verison of BES shipped with. So if the version of BES shipped with
JDS6, you may have problems if you try to use JDS7 with that version of BES.
