How to read any of the LOG file to find out why it is hung/frozen?

Tough to understand it is a configuration issue (block size) or a
programming issue (data lock) since I don't know where to look or how to
read these log files.

After attaching the jdatastore.license file I don't receive any more "NONE
REDISTRIBUTABLE_JDATASTORE_IN_USE" file. But started to get more
hanging/frozen jds server.
Also I don't see any more temp_ files (sort related files apparently).
_temp.jds file goes up to a size, I am not sure if its size is causing to
stop the system at one point.
