Finally we are happy to be able to announce the release of kbmMW v. 2.70 in
the following 3 editions:

- Enterprise

- CodeGear

This release contains, amongst other interesting things, the following:

- Delphi 2007 Win32 support (CG/Pro/Ent)
- AJAX transport support (Pro/Ent)
- HTTP service support (Pro/Ent)
- ElevateDB v1 database support (Pro/Ent)
- Additional debugging facilities (Pro/Ent)
- More database transaction handling features (Pro/Ent)
- Updated SOAP format to support .Net v2 consumers (CG/Pro/Ent)
- Cool new AJAX IM chat demo bundled (Pro/Ent)
- Lots of new HTTP functionality
- Unified HTTP facilities for SOAP, ISAPI, HTTP and AJAX streamformats

From this release, CodeGear Edition only supports Delphi 2007/Win32.
CodeGear Edition is the best free to use (even for commercial use) n-tier
product for CodeGear products today.

The new AJAX transport provides a dual type autoselecting interface to your
application servers from web clients.
It accepts HTTP type requests with a payload that can be XML (kbmMW's XML
format) or other data (for example JSON as the AJAX demo shows).
The new HTTP service makes the application server act like a webserver
understanding POST/GET/HEAD etc.HTTP operations.
It is, out of the box, able to serve files (html etc.) directly to the
browser, but
also supports adding custom code producing the output to the browser.

Read more about it in the history.txt file.

Please be aware that this update is available for all current kbmMW
v.2.5x/2.6x customers free of charge, but that subsequent updates are
subject to participation in the SAU (Support and Update) subscription
program which you can read more about here:
http://www.components4programmers.com/news/ourfuturebusinessmodelforkbmmw.htm

The SAU runs out July 1. 2007 for kbmMW license holders having bought kbmMW
before Dec 2006, unless a SAU subscription has been signed.
Please also notice that if the SAU license has lapsed by more than 6 months,
you will loose your right to participation in the SAU subscription program
for that particular license, permanently. So for your own good, keep up with
the SAU program.

To purchase SAU for your kbmMW license please visit this page:

We have some cool plans and code for post v. 2.70 which current SAU
subscribers will be able to benefit from!

Shortly we will provide kbmMW InControl Management Console and kbmMW
InControl Repository Server to be downloadable from the MyC4D portal.

In addition we will release a new version of kbmMW Spider, with lots of new
enhancements specially for the .Net clients.
