Hi,

with vcscache you can get the Filestatus of the files.

But what about the directories?
The status of the directories are not decorated. (just modified in ws, but
neither renamed or new in ws).

Is that generally possible?

Thanks.

Providing this functionality is an implementation decision on the part of
the decorator -- directory status is not recorded but the decorator can
check if the directory is part of the tree that contains a decorated file
and "bubble up" the state.

The VCS decorator doesn't provide that functionality. I suppose partly
because it was felt to be too much of a good thing when you want to report
multiple states for a package (e.g. the package contains files modified in
the workspace, files modified in memory, files modified in the repository,
files added to the repository, files deleted in the repository).
