I think it's really cool stuff Jennifer (or is Jennifer-Ashley what you
prefer?). Unfortunately, I haven't been doing Java work (except for
playing) for 2 years. I've been doing Ruby on Rails stuff.

There may be some Java work in my future, and I think the JB2008 is a
huge improvement over JB2007 (at least for an old JB hand like me, who's
been using JB since JB3.5).

Hi Lori,

JB 3.5, wow! I do still have that one installed on one of my computers,
actually. At first I was a bit hesitant towards the Eclipse "takeover", but
now I am completely for it. I have been doing a lot of Java and indeed some
Ruby. (where do you find substantial Ruby jobs?) Looking forward to Bonanza
and the follow upper, when in June Eclipse releases 3.4.

Why not get us started :-) Have you tried it out at all? What features do
you like the look of? What do you think of Application Factories?

I kind of invented my own Rails job at a place that was needing to
re-enter the market after suffering thru a 5 year non-compete agreement.
Speed was necessary, so we picked Rails.

P.S. Did you know about http://devchix.com?
