Borland doesn't announce timelines for the support of various
technologies. We're stuck waiting until the public release.

These things are never announced in advance. Keep an eye out for the
JBuilder 2006 updates, and if not there, then Peloton.

I'd say we have announced in advance - follow that link then check out
the Peloton highlights section.... specifically says that EJB 3 will
be supported in JBuilder 2007 ("Peloton") which is due for release by
the end of 2006.
"These things never used to be announced in advance" might be a more
accurate statement ;-)
Regards, Jon.
That has generally been true in the past, but the product roadmap does
indicate that Peloton (late this year?) will include EJB3 support.
"Java Enterprise 5 development including EJB 3 made accessible through a
simple, standards-based visual development environment."
I would also interpret that as implying that it won't come earlier in
one of the JB2006 updates, though I guess that isn't completely clear
beyond a doubt from anything the roadmap says.
