SQL Error Interbase 4

My old software runs on Interbase v. 4.2 on Windows 98 SE.
I'm trying to install Interbase and that software on Windows XP SP2 with
success.
But, when I'm runnig my application, then I get error:
"General SQL error, invalid statement handle."
I have no backup, no tools for backup/restore, only original diskette with
InterBase 4.2
Does anyone help me how to resolve my problem ?
