I worked fine with Interbase Server (6.0.1) and Interclient
(2.00), but a week ago Interclient stopped to start.
With Interbase Server running, if I try to run interserver.exe
as a W2k service, it raises an 1067 error code exeption and
terminates. If I use isconfig.exe to start interserver.exe
in "application mode" it simply doesn't start.
Surfing throw the net I found other discussions on this problem.
The only mentioned solution is to reinstall OS!!! This suggests
a registry wrong configuration, but to reinstall OS is not
proposable!!!
Now, someone can help us?
And more, is Borland able to handle this error? Or we have to
abandon Interclient/Inteserver?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Stefano.

If you opened a paid support case then yes, Borland would probably be
able to help. Borland does not provide official support on the
newsgroups.
If you think it's a registry problem, it should be fairly easy to
delete any registry keys mentioning IB or InterClient. You can then
reinstall both.
However, I've never seen this problem and can't guarantee that
twiddling with the registry will solve it.
