Connecting to MS SQL from INterbase

Hi,
I'm trying to connect to a MS SQL Database from Interbase but I keep getting
the following message...

An InterBase error has occurred while attaching.
Error - Unable to complete network request to host "xx.xx.xx.xxx".
Failed to establish a connection.
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
InterBase Communication Test Failed!
********************
Any ideas?

Yepz, you can't connect to MSSQL from interbase.

There is no way to connect directly from InterBase to MS SQL Server. If you
need to work with both you will have to write an application that connects
to both.
