Hi,

I would like to have both a Borland Together for UML design and Bea
Workshop deploy capabilities on the same Eclipse setup.

But, alas, I just can't seem to make it work, Borland Together seems to
expect Eclipse 3.1.1 while Bea Workshop uses 3.1.2!!!

What can I do? Is there any workaround for this? The version change seems
minor enough, can we override that setup check??...

Here are my versions:

Borland® Together® Developer 2006 for Eclipse
Version: 8.0 Build id: 3080.1

Bea Workshop 9.2.0 Build 783464

I would love to see this setup work, Eclipse is great, Together is great
and Bea is great! But... I want them all in one package!

Thanks in advance.

Rui

Eclipse 3.1.2 is not officially supported, as Together hasn't been tested
with it. But, as, indeed, version change is minor, you can try installing
Together into Eclipse 3.1.2

I would love to do that, but the setup excludes this option. Is there any
way to override this setup check for 3.1.2?

Also, can you tell me a release date for an update that contemplates 3.1.2?

Thanks.

if the installer doesn't allow installing into 3.1.2, you can try installing
with bundled Eclipse, and then link Tg plugins to your Eclipse 3.1.2.
No updates compatible with 3.1.2 can be expected. The recent release of
Together is based on Eclipse 3.2
