Hi all!

I hope anyone can help me.

My system is Windows XP Pro. I installed Delphi 5 using the administrator
account. Yet using it as standard user I did not get all components (TButton
not found, TEdit not found ..). But they are there as I realized being
logged in as as administrator.

So I installed it again hoping that I can give the rights from the
administrator to all users. Now the problem has not gone but I got another:
Closing Delphi gives me the message "external exception 80000003". That's
not the problem, but I cannot even open a file or project. If I click on
"save" or "open" Delphi simply closes and that's all ...

I reinstalled it some more times but I did not find a solution. Does anyone
has a glue?

Thank you for any help

Peter

This looks like an installation issue to me, not a documentation one.
Please only post to one, most appropriate group.

Borland offers free official support for installation issues on
borland.public.install.delphi.

I've set followup-to that group only.
