The help file for CodeGear RAD Studio 2007 says that "RAD Studio provides
the .NET Import Wizard" to facilitate the import of .NET [WinForms] controls
for use on VCL.NET forms.
(ms-help://borland.bds5/devnet/usingnetimportwizard_xml.html). It says to
"Choose File > New > Other > Delphi for .NET Projects > WinForm Controls
Package;" however, WinForms Controls Package is not listed in Delphi for
.NET Projects.

Has anyone tried this in CodeGear RAD Studio 2007? If so, any chance you
can point me in the right direction?

Thanks!!

The help is wrong. If you have Delphi 2006 (or maybe earlier) you can
try the wizard that came with that.

Thank you, Marc (so much!). I had resisted trying 2006 to make the WinForms Controls Package since 2006 is .NET 1.1 and 2007 is
2.0. However, just now I tried it and was able to build the package project (.pas and project files) using Start / Borland
Developer Studio 2006 / Tools / WinForms Control Import Wizard and then build it in RAD Studio 2007. Not had a chance to test it
much yet, but I was at least able to drop a WinForm control on the form.

(I used the WinForms Control Import Wizard from the Start menu because I was unsuccessful using the wizard from the 2006 IDE--no
controls listed after selecting System.Windows.Forms.dll.)

Thanks again!
