i'm looking for a component (possibly a control) that will allow my application to open / view / edit word documents including using its spell check. is there such a component or even a method that will allow for this? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Take a look @ www.wptools.com
I use it, and works great (WPRichText Control).
No - it does _not_ use the richtext-Dlls provided with windows. Has it's
own rendering engine and stuff like that.
