Printer hanging

Often when I print from my D4 program the printing process hangs. I do not
use any of the reporting programs such as Crystal Reports. If I try to
repeat the print command (from my D4 program) I get the message "printing in
progress". Sometimes purging the task from windows will allow me to print,
but usually I must shut the program down and restart it (not windows). I
use the program on three computers with a file server, and it happens on any
of the computers, and it happens without two users trying to print at the
same time.

hi david,
in d5 i often had the ame problem but i managed to fix it. now i wonder if
in d4, it is the same problem.
be sure you open your printing process with
printer.BeginDoc;
and finish it with
printer.EndDoc; (!!!)
