I've created a really simple WebService (Web App Debugger) with one
function that just returns a string. "Hello World" kind of thing.

But, when I try to run the client, I get:

-------------------
Invalid WSDL document 'http://localhost:2048/MyUnit.CoMyTest/wsdl/IMyTest' -
Please verify location and content!
Error: XML document must have a top level element.

Line: 0
-------------------

WebService app is running.
Web App Debugger is running and started.
WSDL was visited, and looks normal.

I didn't have this problem before UP2. Anybody know how to fix this?

Is this because the update pack 2 reset the port of WAD to 1024?

Nope, it's the same. However, I tried changing back to 1024, and started
getting socket errors. I re-booted my machine and now everything works fine.

Strange that the browser could find the WSDL, but that WAD couldn't.

Thanks.

I think either PC-cillin or ZoneAlarm or both were causing the problem.

Anybody else run into issues running WAD WebServices while
firewall/antivirus is running?
