I have some components (third party) with source. I can compile them just
fine in RAD Studio 2007 but when I come to try and install them I get the
following error message:

[MakeDir Error] Unable to create directory "E:\Compile5". Access to the path
'E:\Compile5' is denied.

I've searched through the sourceand the component project file, recreated
the .res file but I can't find any reference anywhere to and E:\Compile5
directory. Is there any place that an output directory (which is probably
for the DCP or BPL files) can be hardcoded?

Did you check the .dproj file ?
