I'm trying to install a scripting package (from Dream Company) but I keep
getting the error message
Cannot load package 'Vcldb40'. It contains unit 'Db.' which is
also contained in package 'Freeware'

Well, it's true....I have two packages, neither of which I had anything
to do with, that use db. So what's the trick in getting these packages to
get along with each other?

Thanks,
David Jameson

I think you should remove the unit DB from these packages and put it in a
different package.
Or, which is even better, write an E-Mail to the writer of this package and
tell him your story.

Hmmm....
1) How do I do that and have both original packages still work properly?
2) Why do I HAVE to do that? It seems to me that that there must be lots
of units that are used by multiple packages. How do they all
get along?

Thanks,
David

P.S. I've already sent email to the writer of the package...haven't heard
back yet!

Inform the Dream Company of their error and have them send you a corrected
package. Of if you have the individual units you can build your own package.
