Moving to D2009?

Hi all,

Our company has bought a copy of D2009. I was one of the lucky to be
allowed to test it out.

The IDE looks good, and feels more stable than before.

There is ONE snag!!!
A large amount of our low-level data routines don't work as expected.
Specifically out data compression/encryption routines are all broken.
As a result, I can no longer decompress/decrypt data in the D2009
version, what was created in the D2007 version.

What has changed in D2009 that might be responsible for this?
Even better question: where to start for fixing this?
