Stack crashes due to: "TIWServer.ServeError"

We are using an older version of Intraweb (will have to check which
version) with an older version of Delphi (6). Our program runs great
when running as an .exe, but crashes very erratically and frequently when
published for public consumption as a .dll. (Runs fine until it starts
seeing traffic).

We have debugged the dumps/processes via Microsoft, map2dbg, DebugDiag
etc., and have reached the end of our rope...here's what Microsoft's tech
support was able to provide:

The crashes all occur in a function "TIWServer.ServeError" - ironically,
this is the function which crashes the .dll; or AT LEAST is what the dump
reports generated by DebugDiag would indicate as being the crash point.

However, we are unable to figure out what to do with this data now that
we have it. What is/Where is TIWServer.ServeError? It would appear this
is an Intraweb component, but we don't know how to further debug the
issue. Would a simple upgrade of Intraweb resolve the problem?

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
