What would folks recommend as the easiest to use wrapper for a recent
SQLlite database? I have downloaded (but not tried) Tim Anderson's
"Simple Sqlite 3.0 for Delphi", and note that he says that
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlite4delphi is dead.

I want to read from one database, process the data (it's just strings) and
rewrite entries in another database. I'll be using Delphi 2007.

Thanks,
David

Without a doubt DISQLITE is the most comprehensive wrapper. Check out

Highly recommended.

Thanks, Trev. I actually need "simple" rather than "comprhensive", and I
have Tim Anderson's units working OK. But I will take a look at DISQLITE
as well.

Hi David,

I have used Sqlite components from Aducom, and found them simple and easy
to use.

That's not a wrapper. It is a full implementation on its own.

The SQLite DLL isnt that difficult, really. You might just try making your
own wrapper if you just want a simple implementation (ie, no data binding).

I get a 404 error on that.

Trev, Mohammed, Pierre, Maxim, and more..

Thanks for all your suggestions. In the end, Tim Anderson's "Simple
Sqlite 3.0 for Delphi" is doing all I need, and it seems to work well.

Thanks,
David
