I have installed and used the free Raize components but found a few of
them somewhat lacking in features. For example, I think the
DBLookupComboBox component does not have auto positioning (i.e., as
the user types in characters, the combo box cursor should move to the
beginning of the list items beginning with that sequence of
characters). I'm also interested in finding a good form resizing
component to resize forms and their contents to fill the screen for
different screen resolutions. Can anybody recommend third party
custom components to do the above tasks or any component library to
complement Delphi's standard set of components? Thanks in advance!

Mark,

RXLib is free and gets more use than any other component set I've ever
had.

I thoroughly recommend LMD Tools which I believe does all the things you
mentioned plus heaps more...

Trial version of v3.5 is available at:

http://www.lmdtools.com

v4 is under development and adds heaps more things.

The Raize List Pack does not come with a DBLookupComboBox
and the combo boxes that do come in the List Pack support
auto positioning *and* auto complete.

IMHO, the two best component packs are both free.

RxLib: http://rx.demo.ru
Vladimir Gaitanoffs': http://www.tsinet.ru/~vg

Vladimir Gaitanoffs contains components I haven't seen
anywhere else... and I really do get around.

Good hunting,
Graham Wood.

I can't find any Delphi tools at this site. Lots of OS/2 and
other stuff. I *think* that I've exhausted their site index.
Can you give a lower level url that might lead to where
their Delphi stuff is located.
