ive been trying to make a irc client with the indy irc component, but
the documentation is very limited and im kinda new to delphi if anyone
has any documentation , code snippets, or opensource progs will u please

I try to do such a program based on the IRCClient Component in the Indy bar.
To understand what is the IRC protocol, you should read the assiociated RFC.
You can find a the Client IRC specification at :
