Hi,

I'm trying to import Type Library files. I've successfully imported
MSOffice_Tlb, Excel_Tbl etc. As you all know that Excel_Tlb required
VBide_Tlb. When I was
trying to import VBide_Tlb from Vbeext1.OLE, I get error message "A Class
Named TComponent already Installed". What should I do?. By the way, I'm
using Delphi 5, Office 97 and Windows 98 SE.

Anyones help would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.
Jigme

I never had to import any of the Office or VB type libraries, they were
already listed in Delphi when I went to the Import dialog. This is true of
both D3 and D5, and Win95 and 98.

Are you sure VBide_Tlb is required?
In any case, the error just means that the automatic name the type lib
editor tried to assign to one or more of the objects you are trying to
import is already used.

Solution:
Just rename the component in the "Class Names:" memo box to something else
such as TComponent2.
Do the same for each conflicting name. Of course to refer to these imported
components you have to use new name.
