How using CreateOleObject ?

I try this code:

VarWord : Variant;

VarWord := CreateOleObject('Word.Basic');
Delphi doesn't seem to know this function.
I would like to send some database record to word via Ole.

Is the ComObj unit referenced in your uses clause. The CreateOleObject
method is contained in that unit.
