Null in Delphi 6

Delphi 5 accepted statements like
TTable.Fieldvalues['fieldname'] := NULL
and
IF TTable.Fieldvalues['fieldname'] = THEN ......

After upgrading to Delphi6, these statements report
undeclared identifier Null.

How can this be solved?
