You may want to rename the game. I have heard of others who have been
sued (or at least threatened to be sued) for using it.

Shall we consider this as SPAM?

I think he would only be liable if someone buys it...

If I read that well, he sells the source code. But I am not even sure if
someone is not liable if they simply give it away.

I don't know who it was, but one of the (former?) readers of these
groups once had problems with something similar. And he didn't sell it.

It was flip remark to be sure. The test for damage recovery is
being able to prove that damage in a civil court. Even if he's
not selling it, it could undercut the sales of Tetris.

It wasn't very civil of me, however, to suggest his product
would not sell, nor damage the trademark holders.

I would. Tetris is one of the easiest games to write. I did it in
college 10 years ago. In way less than 3000 lines too, although it
was a pretty basic version and it was in C.

OH
MAYBE YOU ARE RIGHT!!!

We found so many tetris-like game named "MyTetris" or so on.
We just want to sell our source code to someone who want to learn
programming.
So we develop the classic tetris game in different languages.
And we hope it is fit for those beginers who want to get some more complex
examples then "hello world". And in fact, it works.

Thanks for you advice.

no offence meant but i don't think anyone would actually buy your source
code since there are many versions of Tetris out there with *free* source
code. and anyway, it's easy to write a tetris clone!
