.NET will make Delphi an automatic "scripting" language

Well not actually. The concept of "scripting" with .NET CLR is over. With
Delphi.NET (or whatever it's future name) we would be able to write
components in Delphi and then deploy them independently of IIS in web
applications in the form of ASP.NET. A complete application - end to end -
that has Delphi syntax. Now that's nice.
