Question:

i have one Computer running win98
for compatiblilty with an installed DELPHI-4

i have one Computer running winXP with an
installed BDS 2007 Delphi Turbo or whatever

in the past, it was possible to decide at compiletime
which version of compiler ist running, which is
neccessary to use DateUtils etc ...

{$IFDEF VER120}
this was delphi 4
{$ENDIF}
{$IFDEF VER140}
this was delphi 6
{$ENDIF}
{$IFDEF ?????}
this is actual BDS 2006/2007 or whatever
{$ENDIF}

Wher are these Defines written down ???
cannt find in HELPFILE, it says i have to use VER140 but VEr140
is not BDS 2007/2006 nor TurboDelphi 7

any ideas

Not on my machine... CodeGear RAD Studio 2007 version 11.0.2902.11471
(with December 2007 Update) is using VER180 and VER185, but not VER190.

I don't know which version you are using? ;-)
