How can i use the serial port in delphi 7 (like MsComm OCX of VB)

I there i'm trying to use use the serial port (com1...) for set comunication
with a industrial machine(ModBus) and io got every function done and now i
need to send as red the received into serial text and binary...

And when i install the aplication on the cliente machine what do i have to

You can import the OCX controls into Delphi and work with that.

Check if the OCX can be redistributed. Should be in the M$ Docs.
If it is you can copy the OCX if it is not found or if your version is
newer.
if you are using any installation builder then it can also register the
control if needed.
Else you have load the call the DllRegisterServer function in the DLL/OCX.

Else there are may freeware delphi components available that will let you
use the serial port.

you might have a look at the former TurboPower Async Pro. Which surely does
the job.
