refresh dbgrid beginupdate

Hello,
i have the following question:
i have a dbgrid on a form. and if i update the dataset, changes are directly
reflected on the form.
i want to have a kind of "beginUpdate" "endUpdate".

You should try something like

DataSet.DisableControls;
try
//do your work on the dataset here
finally
DataSet.EnableControls;
end;
...

This prevents the grid updating (or any other controls) whilst you are
processing the dataset records in code.
