Which is the best telnet componenet to use?

ICS comes with a very easy componenet that you just place on your form
(specifying the host of course) and it just works. How can i do the same in
winshoes using say a memo control to display all information to/from the
telnet port?

Many Regards

Actually ICS has 3 telnet components:

TTnEmulVT: a visual component with VT100 terminal emulation
TTnScript: same as above, plus scripting facility
TTnCnx: non visual-component handling telnet protocol

I will not work on most systems because many applications are using escape
sequences to position cursor, clear screen, change attributes and so on. So
displaying in a TMemo will show some garbage. ICS's TTnEmulVT component
interpret those escape sequence as does a VT100 terminal. For example if
TTnEmulVT component receive <ESC>[2J sequence then it will clear the
"screen" instead of displaying those 4 characters.
