File Transfer with TClientSocket and TServerSocket .

i'm trying to send a file uppon request from the client
Thru TCP Connection using Sockets ,

My Bug is: i can sent the file from the server to the client
using SendStream();

but how do i catch it on the Other end .. there is no ReciveStream....

can sommone explain ??? please ....

You should know that the standard TClientSocket and TServerSocket components
that come with Delphi don't work past a router, which motly means a WAN or
the internet. So if you are planning to use this system across a WAN or the
internet use other components instead.

TWSocket component has SOCKS feature. It allows you to traverse a firewall
using SOCKS4 or SOCKS5 protocol. TWSocket is part of freeware ICS package.

I have tried using these components over the internet from one ISP to
another.
It seemed to work good. Under what circumstances and what problems would I
see.
