I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I checked the help
file and the readme.txt. Both say run regsvr32.exe on msxml.dll. After doing
this and seeing it register I am still getting this error in the ide when
trying to do a loadfromstream on TXMLDocument. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Are you setting the Active := True before you do a load ?

Yup;-)
----snippit
try
Stream.Clear;
Stream.Write(buffer, BuffLen);
Stream.Position := 0;
try
Doc.Active := true;
doc.LoadFromStream(stream,xetUnknown);
except
on e:exception do Begin
ssErr(PChar(BPLName), PChar('Exception in XML with GiveTo'));
Exit;
end;
---snippit
thanks again for quick answers

Roger,

I've had this kind of problem too. But it was related to having additional
sockets in use. I'm not sure of what is going wrong, but you may want to
try, deleting all component from the form and then dropping the TXMLDocument
component as the first one. Changing the creation order doesn't help.

In an earlier posting - New Dataset WebService, you should a link for some
code. Maybe it will help you though I can't see what you are doing wrong.

Found out what it was. This code is in a bpl. I had to call Coinitalize
before accessing the document. It is that same bug wiht the MSXML pas
reporting any error as MSXML not installed. Thanks for all your help.
