IBDatabase.Connected property

NB: i use Delphi5 pro, InterBase Express palette and IB6.5.
i've built a little cgi testing program that involves a WebModule having a
TIBTable (with IBDatabase and IBTransaction) linked with a
TDataSetTableProducer. Nothing simplier ..
The problem is as follows:
I. from my Delphi IDE:
1. i connect the IBDatabase (IBDatabase.Connected := true)
2. i connect the IBTable to the IBDatabase and i chose a TableName for my
IBTable.
3. i active (active := true) the IBTable to be able to visually configure it
(either to add fields to the IBTable, or to preview the data in the
TDataSetTableProducer)
4. i close (active := false) the IBTable and disconnect (connected := false)
the IBDatabase
5. i open the IBTable (IBTable.Open) and IBDatabase (IBDatabase.Open) on the
OnCreate event of the WebModule; accordingly i close the IBTable and
IBDatabase on the OnDestroy event of the WebModule.
6. i compile the .dpr directly in the c:\inetpub\scripts directory
II. from the web browser
1. i launch my cgi, ie http://localhost/scripts/project1.exe
.. and no data appear in the browser.
After some tests, it is like the IBDatabase connection causes problem. Why?
Because if i *don't connect the IBDatabase at design-time before launching
the cgi* from the browser, it runs fine.
Has somebody already tested it? Is it a problem when
connecting/disconnecting at
design-time the IBDatabase? Apart from setting the IBTable and IBDatabase
properties at run-time, how to fix that?

i saw this link before, but as there were no french version, i prefered
IBX4.52.

There is a French version. The french Dlls haven't needed updating since 4.6.
I have never released an update to IBX not not released a corresponding German
and French resource Dll when they need updating. There has been no required
updated since 4.6.

By the way, since i saw a new 'Interbase Admin' vcl package in my Delphi
IDE, is there any demo that show how these components work?
