Delphi 7 and Unicode

Please let me know whether Delphi 7 support unicode.

Generally since D2 (or was it D3) the Delphi-Language supports Unicode.
From D5 up you can get Components (ElPack, TNTWare) which supports
Unicode and can be used as a replacement of all Controls that are
provided by Borland. From D8 the VCL.NET supports Unicode and AFAIK from
BDS2005 the IDE is Unicode-Enabled.

The VCL-Controls from Borland are still Ansi-Based, but if the provide a
VCL.Win64 they will be Unicode-Enabled.
