This problem has been driving me nuts.
Can you give me any more info on this
"popup window killer" ?
In particular, was it developed with Delphi
or any common Delphi components that
you know of?

Any progress on this?
Any other symptoms or possible culprits?

The "popup killer" I referred to is a basically an internet browser helper
application. It suppresses those annoying popup windows that appear as you
are browsing sites. I happened to download, and install one to see how well
it actually worked. It works well at suppressing the intended targets, but
I happened to notice that it also "killed" my Delphi hints. (It doesn't
appear to affect MS Office program hints.) I don't know what development
language it is written in. If you do an internet search, I'm sure you'll
come across the one I downloaded, as well as additional info regarding this.
Mike
Name please - I need one of those and don't want to waste my time with
that particular one.

As you can imagine, this makes developing VERY difficult! :)
Any solutions would be appreciated.

Right click on the component palette and verify that "Show Hints" is
checked. This is *not* the same as "Show Designer Hints" in the
Environment Options.
