Please help - I have written a small FTP program with Delphi 3 Professional
using the FTP program that ships with Delphi.
The program works fine on my W2K server with Delphi installed, but when I
move the exe to another server I get

EOleSysError - "Class not registered"

I guess, I need to do something with Regedit or RegSrv32 but have no idea
what ?? -- please help.

Not really too sure, but when I have got this error, it is usually cause I am trying to use an external application that doesnt reside on the computer, i.e. using excel automation components and excel isnt installed on the pc?

mabye this is an issue for you also?

Your multi-posted question (which belonged here, BTW) was answered
in b.p.d.activex.controls.writing.

Please don't post the same message to multiple groups. It's
a waste of both bandwidth and the time of the people who
answer you in one group only to find someone else has already
done so elsewhere. It's also a violation of Borland's NG guidelines.

Ken, I would like to see the reply to this problem, and looked for it in the
ng you mentioned, but can't find it.

Can you tell me if it was posted with another name? on what date?

Thanks
Ana
