Just copy it to %windir%\system (or system32 for winNT).

Regsvr32 <path>\midas.dll

path = path where you strore that dll f.e c:\winnt\system

I never register the midas.dll. I have it placed in the same shared
directory as all my exe's and dll's. The user runs everything from that
shared directory and it picks up the midas.dll.

Are you sure it doesn't auto register somehow?

Maybe I am lucky? :)

It does auto-register. I prefer to explicitly register, as that way I am
guaranteed that it works in all cases.
