Lookup Field Problems using ADO Data Sets ???

I am using the Enterprise version of Delphi 5, and using the TADOdata sets
for retrieving data (TADODataSet, TADOQuery, TADOTable, etc). No matter
which of the ADO data set objects I use, all lookup fields return garbage!

Sometimes they fix themselves, but only if I scroll the data out of view, or
go into / out of edit mode. This never happens with standard TQuery
objects.

I am using SQL Server 7.x. Is there an update that I am missing, or is this
just a known issue?
